Holocaust explored in six-volume collection
Holocaust (Eureka) is a six-volume set that takes a chilling look at Hitler’s legacy — the death camps where millions of Jews and other prisoners were murdered.
Apart from chronicling the rise of anti-Semitism and the formulation of the Final Solution policy, each disc presents disturbing archive footage uncovered during and after the liberation of extermination camps at Auschwitz, Majdanek, Ravensbruck and Buchenwald and Dachau.
Although the quality of the archive film is quite poor, nothing can mask the horror of what unfolds, reminding us how we must never forget what happened.
